Fifth Education Exchange completed

The exchange between museum teachers and outreach staff is one of the main activities within ASEMUS. The program is designed as a twinning project between two museums, one in Asia and one in Europe. In the fifth exchange, staff from the Museum of Foreign Art in Riga, Latvia and the Ullen Sentalu Museum in Sleman, Indonesia visited each other and shared experiences and perspectives.

Two weeks in Asia, two in Europe

The participants of an exchange spend around two weeks at each institution respectively and take part in the educational efforts of that museums. A common feature of all exchanges carried out so far, is the wish of participaiting actors to develop sustainable long term working relationsships.
